Step One:Go to File on top menu bar>click on new>open a new image 102pixels wide x 116 pixels high colour white and click OK. Step Two:Go to Layers>New Raster Layer>OK.Click on View>Zoom In>do this 3 times as it makes your image easier to work with. Step Three:Using your Preset Shapes tool - Left hand menu 4th from the bottom>select the oval shape. Next go to the Tool Pallette and use the following settings: Shape=Elipse ; Retain Style,Antialias,Create As Vector=Checked ; Line Width=1 ; Line style=Solid Line Then click on your Material Pallette and make your foreground colour=black; background colour=Null. Step Four: Click on your image and make a oval that reaches from top to bottom of your image - starting at position ( 15,0 ) you will find this bracket of numbers on the grey bar at the bottom right of your workspace.
Step Five:Go to Layers>New Raster Layer>OK. Step Six:Select your Text tool - Then go to the Tool Pallette Select settings as follows - Arial Narrow size 16 Create as vector and antialias=Checked background colour=black and foreground colour=Null. Then clicking on your image Type in CAPITALS your name>OK. Step Seven:Click on Image>Rotate>Left 90 degrees. Hold mouse over centre of the vector nodules and you will see 4 directional arrows click on this point and , move the name across so that it is up against the left side then click on the centre end nodules and move the name till it stretches from top to bottom. Step Eight:Then go to Top Menu Bar and click on Objects>Convert Text To Curves>As Character Shapes. Next left click on image somewhere that is not in the oval or on the word this will put the vector lines and nodes around the edge of your image instead of the word - NOW - Click on the Object Selector Tool at bottom of left menu If you hold your mouse over the firstletter you will see next to your mouse pointer a arrow inside a wee square with nodes on it - Left Click when this is showing - the rectangle and nodes will now be around the letter only, So you can adjust the letter on its own.
Step Nine:Hold mouse over the centre bottom node on the First Letter and you will see a set of 4 arrows appear - NOW while holding down the shift key click on this node and drag it down till it touches touches the oval. Repeat this with the bottom corner nodes. Then click on the next letter and repeat. Do this till all the letters are touching the oval shape.Then Click off of the Object Selector Tool onto any other one to deactivate it.
Step Ten:Repeat Step Six - Repeat Step Seven - Except rotate right instead of left to put new text on other side of oval. - Repeat Steps Eight and Nine. Step Eleven:Click on View>Grid - This will remove the grid lines from around your image. Step Twelve:Click on your Layers Pallette and select the layer 1 (The one with the oval on it ) Then go to your Left Menu and click on the arrow next to your selection tool (3rd down)>Select Magic wand Tool.(Feather=0)
Click on a white area outside the oval Then Select your Flood Fill tool from left menu and on Materials pallette click on the arrow in between the foreground and background colour this will swap the black from background to foregound. >Click on the Black colour and change to a nice green ( I used #008000 ). Now Flood Fill your image.
Step Thirteen:Go to Selections>invert This will move the squiggly lines to around the oval. Click on Layers>New Raster Layer>OK. Change colour on Materials Pallette again ( I used #c00000 ) > Flood Fill the inside of the oval. Click on Selections>Select None Add Your own little bit of magic to personalise.
