1. Bring the girl up and we are going to gray scale her. And then up your colors to 16 mil on both the girl and the bg. Then mirror the girl to the right.(shift + Ctrl + 0)

2. Copy and paste her as a New Layer on top of the background.

3. Use your eraser tool with settings: Round, Size 25, Stroke 0, Hardness 0, Opacity 18, Step 25, Density 100. What I did was bring her eye out and lips and leaving most of the bg on her.

4. I made layer one darker by using this in PSP7: Go up to Effects: Enhance Photo Automatic Contrast Enhancement. Settings are: Bias - Neutral, Strength - Mild, Appearance - Bold. Then click ok. And for layer 2 do the same as you did in layer one. This makes them darker. Then merge ALL.

5. Now we are going to duplicate this image by going to your layer pallet and right click on it and duplicate. Now using layer one, We will give it some color. Go up to color and colorize, Hue is 20 and Saturation is 25. Click ok. Now you see that the image is colorized.

6. With your Eraser Tool, same settings as above, bring some of the brown color out to your liking. This don't have to be the same as mine. I left the colorize on her lips and around her eye and a little around the bg. Then merge all.

7. We are going to do the same thing again. Duplicate this image once again. This time go up to Effect: Enhance Photo Automatic Color Balance. I used settings: Strength 30, Temperature 9300 Cooler (blue): 9300k. Then click ok. Now you see that your image is blue! Well, lets remove some of this blue with your Eraser Tool (same settings). Just play with it and remove some of the blue. I used alot of differant colors as you all know we have our little ways of doing paints. Once you get it to where you like it, Merge all once again.

8. Duplicate this image once again. We are about done here. Now we are going to give this a more effect look. Now go up to Effects and down to Geometric Effects: Twirl with settings: Degrees 180. Click ok. Now you see your image looks all messed up? Well we are going to fix that!

9. With your Eraser Tool (same settings) Bring her eye out! and lips!

10. Play with it, don't be scared to work around it. If you need to drop your settings in eraser tool, do so. Once you get your image to where you like it, Merge.

11. Now we are ready to add text. I used "seriousr4" text. I like this one for this paint...or you could use any small font you like. Color is Black. Make a New Rastor layer. Go to your A Tool and make sure your Stroke is turned off and Fill is on. Set it to the color Black. Under that you need to make sure that Stroke and Fill are off, under Textures are off and Floating and Antialias is clicked on. Kerning 1, and Leading is 0. Then click ok. Now as the text is floating on your paint, move it to where ever you want it to be. I put the name between nose and under her eye. I changed the Layer Opacity down to about 60% and merged all.

12. When satisfied with results....add your own bit of magic...

And Voila' you are done!!!
