In this lesson you will need the filters:
Plugin Galaxy
and Xero Set 1
To start off, save the girl below into your system.


1. Open the Girl and the BG and increase her color depth to 16 million (Colors > Increase > 16million).

2. Go to Effects > Plugins > Plugin galaxy > Coolorize settings are
red 1: 48 | green 1: 73 | blue1: 55 | red 2: 53 | green 2: 133 | blue2: 210 | brightness 128 | intensity 145 | Hit ok

3. Next we will color her cheeks and lips, we used color #c87362, and for her eyes we will use color #3c843c, your Retouch Tool Settings are:
Size: 13 | Opacity: 47 - For the cheeks
Size: 3 | Opacity: 80 - For the Lips
Size: 4 | Opacity: 44 - For the Eyes

4. Now go up to Copy, and then go to Paste As a new Image, set the copy aside ( for now).
Take your image and go up to Image > Mirror. Now go to
Effects > blur > gaussian blur radius 6, hit ok. This blurred image will become our background.

5. Now take the av and go to your Layer Palette, right click on it and Duplicate Layer, go back to Blur > Gaussian Blur, your radious this time will be 4.00, go back your Layer Palette, change the Blend Mode from Normal down to Overlay, then redude the opacity fromm 100 down to 72( By clicking on the bar with the 100 and dragging it down), now go to Layers > Merge > merge All.

6. Take your girl now and go to your Colors > Adjust > highlight/midtone/shawdow settings are reletive(dynamic) adjustment checked | shadow -7 |midtown -37 | hightlight 25 | hit ok

7. Go to your Selection Tool, your settings are :
Shape: Ellipse | Feather: 35 | Antialias: Checked
Draw a selection around the girl, then copy and paste her onto the background as a New Layer move her over just a little so her eye is to the edge of the frame.


Note: Do not get rid of the image with the selection because you will need her

8. Add a new layer to your Image. Now add your name to the image, your settings are:
Font: Impact | Color: White | Size: 36 | Kerning: 80 (less if you have a longer name)

9. Now go to Image > Rotate and rotate her name 90Degreees to the Right.
Now come back to the girl with the ellipse selection going and copy her. Come back to your text and go to Edit > Paste > Into Selection

10. While the name is still floating add a Drop Shadow (Effects > 3d > Drop Shadow), your settings are:
Vertical & Horizontal: 1 | Opacity: 100 | Blur: 6 | Click Ok. and merge your layers

11. Go to the filter xero and porcelain settings are softness 50 strength 128 red channel 46 green channel 85 and blue channel 255 hit ok now go to highlight/midtone/shadow again this time settings are absolute adjustment method checked then shadow 14 midtone 84 and highlight 87 hit ok

12. Go back to porcelin settings softeness 88 strength 39 red 255 green 249 and blue 97 hit ok

Add your name to the image, we used the font Micro Size: 12, Kerning 300
Then add your own bit of magic and Voila' you are done!
