Tiger Heart's Lesson #1

In this lesson you will need the Plugins:
Sextet and Graphics Plus
and the fonts
Impact and TexasHero
To start off, save the girl and the background below into your system.


1. Open your mega and background and change them to 16 mil colors (Colors > Increase 16mill).
2. Select your background image and Copy it, come over to your girl and Paste it as a New Layer.
Go over to your Layer Palette and decrease the opacity of your Layer 1 down to about 80% ( Enough so that you can see her through).

3. Select your Eraser Tool, settings are:
Size: 30 | Hardness: 0 | Opacity: 35 | Step: 25 | Density: 100 | Build Up : Checked
Erase away parts of the background so that the girl shows through, when it's time to erase for her bangs, just change the brush size down to about 10. When you are satisfyed, merge your layers.

4. Add a New Raster Layer to your image. Now go to your Add Text Tool, and add your name to the image, your settings are:
Font: Impact | Size: 40 | Fill: White | Stroke: None | Floating&Antialias: Checked
If you do not have Impact, Arial Narrow with BOLD clicked does an Ok substitute

5. Go up to "Image > Rotate " and rotate your image 90degrees to the Right.

6. Keep your image floating and add aNew Raster Layer on top, now go over to "Effects > 3d > DropShadow", your settings are:
VErtical & Horizontal: 2 | Opacity: 43 | Blur: 3.7 | Color: Black | Click OK.

7. Now deselect your image (Selections > Select None), come down to your Layer Palette and reduce the opacity of your layer 1(the layer with your name) down to 50% and merge your layers.

8. Add a new layer to your image and go to your Add Text Tool, add your name again your settings are:
Font: Texas Hero | Size: 40 | Color: White | Floating &Antialias: Checked
Rotate it to the right again and place it over your first name.

9. Go back to "Effects > 3d > DropShadow", change your opacity up to 90 and decrease yoru blur down to 2.5 click OK . Once you have added the drop shadow reduce the opacity of the layer with your script name down to about 85%, thenmerge your laters.

10. Go over to "Effects > Plugins > Flaming Pear > Aetherize", your settings are:
Blur 143 | Hues 83 | Colorize 177 | Haze 0 | Dreaminess 29 | Glue: Normal | Click Ok

11. Now go up to "Colors > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast", settings are:
Brightness=18 | Contrast=13 |Click Ok

12. Go back to "Effects > Plugins > Flaming Pear > Aetherize", this time your settings are
Blur 141 | Hues 24 | Colorize 117 | Haze 0 | Dreaminess 10 | Glue: Normal | Click Ok

13. Now go to Go back to "Effects > Plugins > Graphics Plus > Spotlite", settings are:
X=122.......Y=128.........Size=90.........Focus=74........Inner Grain=190....Outer Gain=95

Add your own bit of Magic ....

And Voila' you are done!!!
