Moonie's Lesson #3

In this lesson you will need the Plugins:
Sextet and Nikki's Effects
To start off, save the girl and the background below into your system.


1. Open your mega and background and change them to 16 mil colors (Colors > Increase 16mill).
2. Go over to your Selection Tool , your settings are:
Shape: Ellipse | Feather: 25 | Antialias: Checked
Draw an ellipse on your image, this will grab a part of her.

3. Copy and Paste the face on to the bg As a New Layer. You might want to move the face to the right a bit so your bg shows more. When satisfied, Merge layers.

4. Next you will select your "Effects > Plugins > Nikkis Color efex > Midnight ". Settings for this are:
Color 20% | Blur 4 pix | Brightness 89% | Click OK.

5. Now you will want to select your "Effects > Plugins > FlamingPear >Aetherize filter". Setting for this will be:
Blur 115 | Hues 90 | Colorize 37 | Haze 0 | Dreaminess 3 | and Glue on Lighten.

6. If your face is too dark at this point, use your Dropper tool and grab the pink color out of her cheeks.
Using your Retouch tool, settings
Mode: Color to Target | size 27 | hardness 74 | opacity 40 | step 31| density 100
Fill in a pinkish tinge to her face again.

7. Add layer, go to your font tool, select font Ernest( or any small blocky font),
Size 10 | color R1587 G152 B153. | Floating& Antialias: Checked
Add your name once over on the lower left hand side. Click OK. 8. Go to Effects….3D Effects…..Drop Shadow. Settings are Vertical 4...Horizontal 4, Opacity 84%, Blur 4.9 Click OK.

9. Lower your layer opacity to about 85%. Merge layers.
Add your own bit of Magic ....

And Voila' you are done!!!
