GHOSTING

On This Tutorial we will blend a Mega into it's Bkg( Ghosting / Transparency ). Lets start off by saving the Megahead below us into our files.

Now save the Background.

Lets open up both images in PSP, and increase the color depth. (up to COLORS > INCREASE COLOR DEPTH > 16 Mill ) Click on the Guy and go up to EDIT > COPY Now click on the Background and go up to EDIT > PASTE AS A NEW LAYER Once you do this, the Image of the guy will be on top of the Background. Erase the guy's background ( check last lesson for details) And soften the edges. Now that the image has been cleaned up, bring up your LAYER PALLETTE and Make sure that IMAGE 1 is highlighted You will notice a slider there beside layer one, and the number 100 to the right. Slowly move that slider to the left watching your image until u get the ghosted affect that you desire. Usually the setting is 80, but everyone has different tastes. Now that it has been ghosted, Go up to LAYERS > MERGE > MERGE ALL If you do not Merge the Layers before you add your name, your name will also be ghosted and ..VOILA... YOU ARE DONE!
