COLORIZING

On This Tutorial we will take a Black & White Mega and colorize it. Lets start off by saving the Megaheads below us into our files.

Open up both images in PSP, and increase their color depth. (up to COLORS > INCREASE COLOR DEPTH > 16 Mill ) We will paint the B/W one, but use the Colored one to draw our SKIN TONE from. Click on the colored girl, now go up and click on your ZOOM tool. Zoom into the girl about 3 - 5 times according to taste Now click on your Eye-Dropper tool The Eye dropper helps us take a color from an image, and use it in our color palette To do this, once you have clicked on the dropper, go down to your image, and CLICK on the part of the skin from which you want to take the color You can also select what color you want to use by entering it's HTML Code The color that we are using right now is "F1CBA5" Now that we have our flesh color, you can X out of the colored girl Now click on your RETOUCH tool The Retouch Mode will be: COLOR TO TARGET Opacity: 12 Hardness: 38 Size: 7 Step: 1 Density: 100 Come down to the B/W Girl, click on her and color her skin being careful along the edges Color her as many times you think it's necessary, according to your taste. To Color her clothes, follow the same procedure. Only thing that will be different, will be the color you will use, ie.. jeans : BLUE, etc etc Once the image is to your liking, save it and ..VOILA... YOU ARE DONE!
