Beveled Text

On This Tutorial we will take regular text and add a BEVEL effect to it. The Bevel effect makes your TEXT stand out, look sharper, neater.. and above all .. you can use it on WITH FONT, and ANY EFFECT, so lets start.. Paint an Image as you usually do and go to your TEXT TOOL and add your name, but this time follow these steps... FLOATING will give us the squigglies needed to add any effect you want to your text, and it also makes your text "moveable". ANTIALIAS Gives your Text a very smooth and uniform look. Add your text, Now that you have the squigglies going around your text, go to IMAGE > PLUGIN FILTERS > EYE CANDY > OUTER BEVEL If you do not have Eye Candy you can download it HERE. Try these settings out first, if they do not fit your specific image, play with them until you have the desired look. Once you have the desired Look.. click on the CHECK MARK ( OK )... and Save your image... If you want an extra pizzaz on the image, try adding a little bit of GLOW ( EYE CANDY > GLOW ) to the image. In this case we added a Light Teal Glow ( Size : 3 , Opacity 77% ) Play around with the different settings until you have an image you like, once it is to your liking, SAVE IT ... and ..VOILA... YOU ARE DONE!

Remember that this effect goes with almost any type of painting, so just play with it .. and above all .. HAVE FUN!!!
