In this lesson you will need the font:
Texas Hero
To start off, save the girl the background, and the brush below into your system.


1. Open your files and change them to 16 mil colors (Colors > Increase 16mill).
2. Create a new image, 102 x 116 and with a white bg. 3. Copy and paste your girl onto new image as a new layer. 4. Go to Eraser brush
size 13 | opacity 100 | step 25
and erase all the blue from the av.

5. Move image down and slightly to the right. Merge all.

6. Copy and paste bg onto image. go to eraser tool
size 24| opacity 100 | step 25. 7. Erase most of the bg, but make sure that some remains on her hair,

8. Again copy and paste bg onto image. 9. Go to Masks, New from image, source luminance, invert mask data unchecked, click ok. 10. Using eraser, same settimgs as before, gently tap away to show the features.

11. Add new raster layer.

12. Go to brush, custom and find the new brush you added. Colour R.171. G. 146. B. 166 and add.

Note: To create a new Brush, go to the image we are about to create as a brush

A. Increase it's color depth to 16 mill. Go to selections, select all.
B. Select your Brush tool, then go to your Tool Control Pallete, then click on the lil brush icon on the top right and click custom. C. On the Custom Brush Window click on Create then on OK
The brush will be added to the brush folder. Do this for any version of psp.
For psp 9 do the same up to 3 but 4th you go to file, export then custom brush name it and save variance checked and hit ok .

13. Once you create the brush and add it to your image
Add text, font Texas Hero size 20 colour R.123. G121. B. 155 and add your name.

14. While text is floating addnew raster layer. Go to Effects, 3d Effects Drop Shadow. Colour black, Vertical 1, Horizontal 2, Opacity 33, Blur 4.9. Click ok.

15. Merge your layers, Then add your own bit of magic and Voila' you are done!

And voila' you are done!
